White Water Rafting – This is a carbon-neutral, environmentally-friendly adventure for those who wish to traverse through remote, scenic waters. Rafting snakes through thick vegetation covering the walls of steep gorges that tower over the riverbanks. The thick undergrowth provides a playful area where jaguars, monkeys, sloths and many other species of wildlife. The Savegre River provides Class II, III and some IV rapids over a 13 mile trip down river perfect for families or rafters who want to build their experience. The Naranjo River white water rafting tour consists of Class III and IV rapids for the experienced rafters who are physically fit. This seven mile tour runs from April through December, but is especially a challenge for the experienced rafter during the rainy season months of May through October. Keep your adrenaline kicked up in high gear for several hours and then enjoy local snacks and refreshments before heading back to Manuel Antonio. Rates for the Full Day Savegre River Tour starts at $95 per person, minimum 8 years of age. Half Day Naranjo River Tour start at $65 minimum 2 people, minimum 10 years of age.
