Day 1, = A representative of AAA Tours will be waiting for you outside the airport. Your group will then be traveling to the town of Pital,( Arenal volcano area) to Tropical Paradise Bungalows. On the way we will stop to see waterfalls and hummingbirds. (It is best if your flight arrives before 4pm, since you will travel 2 ½ hours to Pital and stop to enjoy dinner along the way.) Day 2, = Rainforest waterfall walk: Get ready to explore the rain forest jungle near one of Costa Rica’s newest reserves: Maquenque. During this hike you can get wet if you want! You will walk on a trail to a beautiful waterfall in the rainforest and also search for poison dart frogs in their natural habitat, as well as learn some tips for surviving in the jungle. Day 3, = Today after breakfast you will visit the hot springs that are in the middle of the rainforest to relax from your travel day. This naturally heated water is full of minerals that benefit your body. While there you will relax in a variety of pools of different temperatures and enjoy the beauty of the tropical rain forest around you. (These pools are shallow to sit and soak in.) Day 4, = Visit Arenal Volcano 1968 hike: Until just recently, Arenal used to be one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Here you will hike over an old lava flow from Arenal last major eruption in 1968. Enjoy majestic views of this colossal giant and the surrounding areas, as well as see the flora and fauna. Day 5, = Travel to Manuel Antonio and open afternoon: Today you will travel to Manuel Antonio area. Along the way you will stop to see wild crocodiles by Tarcoles river, and pass through oil palm plantations. This mountainous beach area has beautiful beaches and lots of wildlife to see. Day 6, = Manuel Antonio beach area: This area is a beautiful mix of forest and beach which affords one the opportunity to swim and relax and see the flora and fauna as well as wildlife such as iguanas, capuchin monkeys, tree sloths, coatis and more. (B) https://verdemar.com/accomodations/
Day 7, = Open morning, then travel to San Jose by the airport. You can enjoy the beach or take an optional tour in the morning, just ask us for options if interested. Then you will travel to Hampton Inn hotel by the airport for your last night in beautiful Costa Rica. Day 8, = Return home. You will be shuttled to the airport from the hotel for your return flight home at your convenient time with many wonderful memories of your tropical vacation in Costa Rica. (B)
